National Review Online-Cynthia McKinney’s Last Stand

This column is a revival of crackpot Cynthia McKinney's foibles. But that's beside the point. This guy is really funny. He has several lines in there that are laugh-out-loud funny to me. Political slant aside, good writing is always nice to find.

And he has some really good stuff to say about free speech and people who play the "race card". Nothing earth-shattering, but that kind of stuff isn't going away.
Raleigh News and Observer - Please, a little less of Moore

We just can't get enough talk about Michael Moore lately. Here J. Peder Zane from the Raleigh paper is taking Moore to task for his sloppy political rants. Zane is also a little miffed that Moore paints the entire South as rednecks.

I haven't read SWM book, but I'm pretty entertained by the blurbs I've heard about it. I think my interest in the Moore stuff comes mostly from "the jolt of reading someone in full lather" as Zane describes it.
Merriam-Webster Online
I was thinking "why doesn't someone make a button for my web browser so I can easily lookup a word in the dictionary?" After a quick Google search later, I was very pleased to find out someone already did.

www.AndrewSullivan.com - What's left?
I don't ususally blog other blogs, but this has some interesting questions. I've been reading a lot of progressive sources the last year or so, and I have to admit that I share a lot of their cynicism towards the political system and mainstream Republican policies.

But Sullivan raises some really tough issues for far-left icons like Nader and Michael Moore. Like why were so many liberal commentators so quick to say Bin Laden was right and our government was wrong? And why do they sneer at any outward display of patriotism?
