What a nasty reason for a good thing to happen. I've been against the missile shield for a long time, and argued that we were put more at risk by worsening relations with China and Russia than by not having a missile shield. Now we've seen another reason we want Russia on our side -- like huge stockpiles of bio- and chemical weapons they could let slip out. Or influence in the 'Stans we need to fight Afghanistan.
